Coach Stegeman recently relocated to Florida. He previously coached varsity boys tennis in Michigan. Coach Stegeman is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he played collegiate tennis. From there Coach Stegeman dabbled on the professional satellite circuit immediately out of college and then began his teaching career under Nick Bollettieri.
I look forward to working with the girls and the development of their games as well as continuing to build on the foundation already in place for girls tennis at Oasis High.
I am thankful to serve as the Boys' Tennis Coach at Oasis High School. My first year was the Spring of 2020 after having served as Head Girls' Tennis Coach at McCluer North High School in Florissant, Missouri for three years. I have also coached tennis in Southern California and my home state of Illinois.
I played Collegiate tennis at Cedarville University in Ohio where I was a member of the Men's Tennis team that won two NAIA District Tournament Championships and participated in two NAIA National Tournaments.
As a team we want to work hard each day to improve and build relationships which will help us succeed in life. We can do this through discipline, hard work, commitment and accountability. "Respect others, respect yourself".
